My name is Shelby Rustin and I am a Creative Manager based in San Diego, California. My passion for visual design and branding started back in high school when I took my first graphic design class and I printed my first custom t-shirt. Since then, I have been hooked and my passion has only continued to grow!

I’ve worked in the design and marketing field professionally for over 14 years. During this time, I’ve come across many challenges and have stepped outside of my comfort zone. But, that’s why I love what I do. I value being in a field that is ever evolving and endless in creative possibility. I enjoy taking on large projects and finding new ways to effect brand positioning through creative messaging.

My background includes advanced experience with print, digital, and social design. I’ve led creative strategy, branding, and design for clients like Susan G. Komen, San Diego Gulls, and UC Davis, to name a few.

Outside of work, my passions include, making sushi, spending time with my friends and family, and winning as many board games as I can. I’m community driven and frequently look for ways to engage in fundraisers and events. If I’m not at the office, you can find me watching Food Network or catching some sun at the beach!
